How to Prepare for Your Bridal Appointment at BB Bridal
Your bridal appointment is booked—AHHH! It’s almost time to find your dress!
The good news? You don't need to have wedding dress shopping figured out before you come to BB Bridal. That's what we're here for.
But there are a few simple things you can do to make your appointment even better.
1. Bring the People Who Matter
Think about who you really want beside you when you find your wedding dress.
Bring the people whose opinions you trust, who know YOU, and who will make the day feel fun and supportive.
And remember—your first appointment might be the appointment where you find your dress! Make sure the people you want in that YES moment are there to experience it with you.
2. Know Your Comfortable Price Point
If someone else is helping purchase your gown, have the budget conversation before your appointment.
At BB Bridal, our wedding dresses range from approximately $1,300 to $4,000+, with our average gown around $2,200.
When we ask what you're comfortable spending, there's absolutely no judgment. We respect everyone's relationship with money. Knowing your price point simply helps your stylist show you dresses you'll feel good about falling in love with.
3. Wear Nude-Colored Underwear and no spray tan please.
Easy one!
We recommend wearing nude-colored underwear since it tends to disappear underneath wedding dresses better than bright colors or patterns.
No need to overthink special bras, shapewear, or wedding-day undergarments. Keep it simple! Avoid getting a spray tan before you appointment. This helps us keep our samples in great condition for all brides.
4. Come With an Open Mind
Bring your Pinterest board. Bring your screenshots. Show us everything you've been loving.
And then let us surprise you.
Wedding dresses look and feel completely different ON than they do on your phone. The dress you never would have chosen from the hanger might be the one that makes you feel absolutely incredible.
